Gliding on snow may trigger pure feelings of happiness. Traditional wooden sledges, bobsleighs or airboards can be hired in several stations or sport shops. Especially in Adelboden, the Skibock (a sawn-down ski with a simple seat) has become very popular. The sledge runs get a daily finish by the snow groomers.

Möser - Bütschegge - Ausserschwand

  • 4.3 km, Aebi-Bütschegge march.
  • Bütschegge-Ausserschwand depending on snow conditions.
  • The local bus Ausserschwand-Dorf is included in the sledging pass.

Sillerenbühl - Bergläger

  • 5km
  • open daily from 1pm


  • 2.5km, from Oey on foot approx. 1 hour.
  • Especially suitable for night sledging under the stars.
  • Beware of traffic coming the other way!

Elsigenalp - Elsigbach

  • 3.5km
  • open daily from 3.30pm

Sledging fun for the whole family

  • Every Thursday, as soon as possible from 6 pm at the floodlit lift by Schermtanne Restaurant.
