As the world's largest quality standards portal for ski regions, “skiresort.de” has also thoroughly inspected Adelboden-Lenk. Achieving a score of 4.4 from a possible 5 stars, we came top overall for the entire Bernese Oberland.
The second most visited ski resort in Switzerland, Adelboden-Lenk, took the Canton of Bern's top spot in portal's rankings. The region came 4th in the skiresort.de Swiss listings. These pleasing results may well be due to the quality of what's on offer. Adelboden-Lenk excelled particularly in the preparation of its slopes - the ski area was a winner in this category in 2017. "The slopes are in a top condition every morning and prepared with great attention to detail," says the inspectors' report.
The high piste score is also likely to have contributed to Adelboden-Lenk being awarded the maximum number of points in the two skier categories. Not only is the ski region "ideal for beginners," but it is also "a playground for experienced skiers," said skiresort.de when awarding us the maximum 5 out of 5 possible stars.
High feel-good factor
The test portal, founded by Oliver Kern, has been active in the German-speaking market for almost 20 years. During that time, the Munich-based company has established itself internationally and skiresort.de tests and evaluates 3300 locations - including Adelboden-Lenk. Overall, the region has achieved the maximum score of 5 stars in 8 different categories. The operational personnel ("very attentive and extremely helpful") and the hygiene standards of the infrastructure ("very neat and clean") both came in for high praise. In addition, the ski region is characterized by a "remarkably high density" of welcoming mountain huts, après-ski bars and restaurants. "The feel-good factor in this ski region is very high," write the critics in the gastronomy section. For Adelboden-Lenk itself, these positive assessments confirm that we are on the right path in terms of strategy and positioning.
