Alpine rest or Alpine action? Whichever you choose, we are delighted you are interested in being our welcome guest in the heart of the Bernese Oberland. Please read the following T&Cs before booking as they form part of every contract with TALK (Tourism-Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg) AG.
TALK (Tourism-Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg) AG is only an agent for accommodation (such as hotels, holiday apartments, holiday homes, etc.) as well as for additional services and tickets from service providers. This is done on behalf of the current service providers (also called "landlords" or "owners") of these offers. TALK AG has carefully compiled all the contents of these offers, however, they are based on the self-declaration of the respective service providers. TALK AG accepts no liability for any changes that have occurred without its knowledge or for possible transmission and printing errors. By making a booking, the guest enters into a direct legal relationship with the respective service provider. TALK AG, as operator of this website, therefore acts exclusively as an intermediary broker between the guest and the service provider.
Conclusion of Contract, Services and General Conditions
The contract between you and TALK AG comes into effect on acceptance of the booking and ends with your departure. By accepting the booking, you also agree to the T&Cs which apply to all other travel participants. TALK AG will reply to your booking in writing with a reservation confirmation in the name and for the account of the service provider, which is also considered a contract. In the event of contradictions between the T&Cs and contracts with service providers, the latter shall take precedence over these T&Cs, unless TALK AG is affected in any way.
Accommodation (Hotels, Apartments, Holiday Homes, Etc.)
By accepting service and accommodation bookings offered by service providers, TALK AG confirms that these service providers are entitled to make such services and accommodation available to the guests. However, TALK AG has not checked this entitlement in individual cases. Accommodation must not be occupied by more than the number of persons (including children) indicated on the booking confirmation. The "house rules" of the respective accommodation must be observed; otherwise, the contract may be terminated by TALK AG or the relevant service provider without refund or compensation.
A package trip exists if transport or another tourist service is offered by TALK AG together with accommodation for an "all-in" price and lasts at least 24 hours or includes an overnight stay.
Terms of Payment
- The prices shown in the reservation confirmation are in Swiss francs (CHF) incl. VAT and compulsory resort tax and are binding.
- For online bookings by credit card, the total amount of the booking is debited immediately to the credit card.
- If accommodation is booked more than 14 days before arrival, payment on account is possible. A deposit of 30% must be paid within 10 days. The booking begins on receipt of the deposit. The balance is due 30 days before the start of the holiday. If arrival is within 14 days of your booking, the rental price must be paid by credit card when booking.
- If payment is not received within the specified time frame, TALK AG may retain all services, dissolve the contract without compensation, and claim any cancellation costs.
Cancellation of the Rental Contract
TALK AG does not offer cancellation insurance. For this reason, we recommend taking out travel insurance with cancellation protection. You are welcome to take out such insurance with our partner, "Europäischen Reiserversicherung" in Basel. Cancellations or rebookings are only possible in writing and require our written consent.
- Cancellations 14 days before arrival: 0%
- Cancellations 2 days before arrival: 50%
- Cancellations 1 days before arrival: 100%

If the room can be let to another party, the entire payment will be refundedminus a cancellation fee of 100 Swiss francs (CHF).
By booking a hotel, you accept the hotel terms and conditions.
Late Arrival, Early Departure
The guest is responsible for arrival on the date and at the time agreed. No reimbursement will be made in the event of late arrival due to disruptions in public or private transport or for personal reasons. In the event of premature departure, the entire amount must be paid. In the event of a "no-show" or any default on the lease without prior notice, the service provider reserves the right to charge 100% of the agreed amount and to debit the specified credit card.
If there are demonstrable defects in the accommodation which cannot be remedied by the tenant, the booking office must be notified immediately (TALK AG, Tel. +41 (0)33 673 80 80). TALK AG can only respond to complaints that are reported within 72 hours of the beginning of the rental agreement. If the guests/tenants do not accept the booked accommodation or the alternative proposed by TALK AG, TALK AG or the service provider will not offer any reimbursement. Claims for damages may not exceed the booking amount under any circumstances.
Force Majeure / "Acts of God"
When on holiday, extreme situations can occur for which neither TALK AG nor the service providers are responsible. If force majeure, environmental disasters or natural events prevent TALK AG from acting as an intermediary, TALK AG is entitled to revoke the booking without compensation. If other factors make it impossible to provide the service previously agreed, TALK AG may either place the guests/tenants in alternative accommodation or cancel the booking if necessary. In this case, the amount will be repaid and the guests/tenants will waive any further claims.
TALK AG is only responsible for the correct brokering of the product selected by guests/tenants and for processing the reservation. Under no circumstances is TALK AG liable for the quality of the rented accommodation. Before inclusion on the TALK AG website, all details concerning the accommodation have been reviewed by us but, in essence, they are based on the information provided by the respective service providers. Defects which are evident on arrival at the property must be reported immediately to the service provider. Damage caused by guests/tenants during their stay must be reported to the service provider before departure. Guests/tenants are liable for any damage caused.
N.B. Service providers are entitled to charge guests for any damage incurred during their stay up to 24 hours after departure.
Changes to Programmes and Pre-Booked Activities on Package Trips
Sometimes pre-booked travel or an activity programme cannot take place as planned. In this case, TALK AG will endeavour to find an equivalent replacement or suitable alternative wherever possible. In the event of force majeure (see definition above), official restrictions, technical defects, etc., TALK AG may also cancel the trip or activity immediately before the start. In such cases, a full refund for the pre-booked activity will be made.
All liability on the part of TALK AG is excluded to the extent permitted by law. In particular, TALK AG will not be liable for services provided by other service providers. Personal insurance cover (accident and health insurance) is the responsibility of the individual guest/tenant.
The guest agrees that personal data collected within the framework of booking, brokerage and processing of the brokered contracts will be stored and processed with the aid of automation in the execution of these services and will be transmitted to third parties responsible for the execution of these services, in particular, service providers.

Applicable Law and Place of Jurisdiction
These T&Cs, the contract and all services are subject to Swiss law. The parties agree that the place of jurisdiction is Thun (CH). Mandatory places of jurisdiction remain reserved.
