Location
One of the most significant historic buildings in Adelboden is without doubt the old-gothic, Evangelical Church in the centre of the village. Since it was built in 1433, very little of the original structure has actually changed.

Worthy of particular note are the choir windows by Augusto Giacometti, the fresco paintings at the entrance, the spacious nave, and of course its central location. The ambience of the church building makes it especially suitable for performances featuring smaller formations since the acoustics here are exceptional. It has the necessary infrastructure for a concert series including an organ, grand piano, and podium, as well as additional side rooms for warming up. The Reformed Church in Adelboden underwent a major renovation back in 1973 and the fresco was last restored in 1995.
